Join the Security team at Gainsight as a Senior Manager in the Office of the Chief Security Officer. You will build the trusted-advisor function, supporting enterprise sales engagements and communicating security posture to CISOs and executives.
The position requires cross-functional collaboration with GTM, Engineering, and Security teams to align product roadmaps with customer needs. You will also attract and mentor a team of security strategists in a cloud-first environment.
What you'll do
- Support GTM and Customer Service on security concerns for prospects and partners
- Define success criteria for business support initiatives
- Collaborate with engineering to shape product roadmap based on customer needs
- Attract, mentor, and retain a team of security strategists
- Foster a culture of excellence and continuous learning within the team
What you'll need
- 5+ years of experience in Security Leadership
- 7+ years in compliance, security engineering, or application security
- Proven experience supporting enterprise sales cycles
- Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical executives
- Strong presentation, storytelling, and influencing skills
Nice to have
- Experience managing a security team supporting GTM
- Experience developing whitepapers on modern security architectures
- Holding security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM
How you'll work
- Fully remote position based in the USA
- Occasional travel required for meetings and events (10-20%)

- Base salary range $185,000 - $202,800 USD annually
