You will own end-to-end quality assurance across Sardine’s platform and customer-facing delivery. Leading a globally distributed team, you will set standards for test plans, coverage metrics, and audit-ready evidence required by banking clients.
The role requires close partnership with Engineering and Professional Services to ensure correct product changes and formal acceptance of bank integrations. You will drive incident response, strengthen test automation, and uphold high quality standards within the engineering culture.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end QA strategy for platform and customer delivery
- Establish quality governance for regulated financial institutions
- Manage incident response including triage and root cause analysis
- Partner with engineers to improve test automation and CI gating
- Support UAT and integration validation for enterprise deployments
- Shape engineering culture to uphold high quality standards
What you'll need
- 8+ years in software quality with 2+ years in management
- Experience in regulated domains like banking or payments
- Familiarity with audit, UAT, and documented test governance
- Strong mindset in test automation and CI/CD gating
- Hands-on experience building automation with Cypress or similar
- Track record of building high-performing distributed teams
- Metrics-driven approach to defining and reporting quality KPIs
