Join Yubo's Platform Engineering team to transform machine learning from experimental projects into reliable production infrastructure. You will design, train, and deploy models that power content moderation, user recommendations, and trust and safety features for millions of Gen Z users worldwide.
The role focuses on improving ML maturity by standardizing pipelines, enhancing observability, and integrating legacy systems into modern workflows. You will collaborate with data engineering and product teams to deliver scalable solutions that balance speed with system reliability.
What you'll do
- Deliver end-to-end ML use cases for safety, moderation, and recommendations
- Design, train, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models
- Establish KPIs and monitoring standards for model performance
- Refactor and retrain legacy models to align with current business needs
- Contribute to the evolution of the internal ML platform and tools
- Partner with Data Engineering and Product teams on technical initiatives
- Improve observability and reliability of production ML systems
What you'll need
- 5+ years of experience in ML or Data with large-scale datasets
- Strong expertise in PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX
- High proficiency in Python and the data ecosystem
- Practical experience with neural networks and LLM-based systems
- End-to-end understanding of ML systems from training to deployment
- Proven track record in production ML environments, not just research
- Ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders
