You will take ownership of product quality across mobile applications, backend APIs, and supporting data pipelines. Working directly with engineering, you will design test plans, identify edge cases, and act as the final gate before release to ensure secure and reliable features for enterprise users.
What you'll do
- Design and execute manual test plans for mobile apps, REST APIs, and backend services
- Verify data integrity and accuracy in ETL pipelines and integrations
- Perform exploratory and regression testing to catch bugs early
- Create and maintain detailed test cases, test data, and defect reports
- Test RESTful APIs using tools like Postman to verify endpoints and logic
- Collaborate with developers to triage defects and resolve customer issues
What you'll need
- 6+ years of Mobile QA experience with 2+ years in a senior or lead role
- Strong background in manual testing for iOS and Android applications
- Experience testing REST APIs using Postman or similar tools
- Background in automated testing for mobile apps and APIs
- Understanding of data pipelines, ETL validation, and structured data formats
- Familiarity with SQL for querying databases and validating backend data
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
