Join Skylo's Global Product Support team as the operational nerve center for incident response. You will manage the full lifecycle of network incidents, from initial alert to service restoration, ensuring seamless connectivity for smartphones and IoT devices via satellite.
This senior position requires independent command of bridge calls for critical events and close collaboration with engineering teams across RAN, 5G Core, and Cloud Infrastructure domains.
What you'll do
- Lead incident bridge calls for Sev 1-4 events and drive resolution
- Manage end-to-end incident lifecycle in ticketing systems like Jira
- Produce structured incident timelines and post-incident review records
- Monitor network availability metrics to ensure MNO partner SLA compliance
- Coordinate with vendor support teams for external escalations when needed
- Participate in global follow-the-sun on-call rotation for continuous coverage
- Validate observability coverage during planned maintenance and change windows
What you'll need
- 5-10+ years in telecom operations or network reliability engineering
- Proven ability to manage incident bridges and maintain discipline under pressure
- Strong knowledge of 5G Core functions and RAN architecture components
- Hands-on experience with observability platforms like Grafana or Prometheus
- Operational literacy in Kubernetes for triaging platform-layer incidents
- Proficiency with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Jira
- Experience with on-call tools like PagerDuty for alert management
Nice to have
- Experience in satellite or non-terrestrial network operational environments
- Familiarity with OSS/BSS platforms and FCAPS alarm management
- Knowledge of 3GPP signaling flows and RRC state machines
- ITIL Foundation certification or practical ITIL process application
- Scripting skills in Python or Bash for automating operational tasks
