Join the Data Platform team to build highly available infrastructure that supports TRM's AI-powered intelligence solutions. You will develop systems that trace illicit activity and help disrupt crime by analyzing blockchain data.
The team collaborates with data scientists and product managers to create services that process structured and unstructured data in real time. Your work will directly contribute to making the global financial system safer.
What you'll do
- Build reliable data services integrating with dozens of blockchains
- Develop ETL pipelines for real-time processing of petabytes of data
- Design data models to support sub-second latency for queries
- Oversee deployment and monitoring of large database clusters
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement novel data models
- Create self-serve automation for scaling and maintenance tasks
- Identify minimum viable features to deploy stacks quickly
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years architecting distributed systems from ideation to production
- Exceptional programming skills in Python
- Proficiency in SQL or SparkSQL
- Experience loading, querying, and transforming extensive datasets
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and fast-paced environments
- Applied AI fluency to accelerate workflows and solve problems
Nice to have
- Experience with Iceberg, Trino, BigQuery, StarRocks, or Citus
- Proficiency with Airflow or DBT for workflow orchestration
- Expertise in Spark, Kafka, or Flink for streaming workflows
- Competence with Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Datadog
- Experience deploying infrastructure on public cloud platforms
