As a Senior Partner Solutions Engineer at Sanity.io, you will own the technical and relational aspects of a portfolio of technology partners. You will scope integrations, build prototypes to de-risk projects, and ensure partner engineering teams or internal R&D can execute effectively. The role requires bridging strategic business conversations with technical feasibility, particularly within AI application architecture and the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
What you'll do
- Own partner relationships including roadmaps, business conversations, and technical scoping
- Lead discussions with partner leaders to align strategic goals with technical feasibility
- Identify technical opportunities for integrations and document architecture and data flows
- Build prototypes and proofs of concept to validate design decisions and reduce risk
- Produce clear technical documentation for partner engineers or internal R&D teams
- Review partner-built integrations for code quality, security, and API usage
- Collaborate with R&D to hand off scoped opportunities and support implementation
- Evaluate partner AI product surfaces to inform scoping and integration strategies
What you'll need
- 3–6 years experience as a software engineer, solutions engineer, or in technical partnerships
- Track record of scoping technical integrations and managing associated relationships
- Ability to translate strategic business conversations into technical feasibility assessments
- Hands-on experience with APIs, SDKs, webhooks, and modern AI developer tools
- Working knowledge of core AI/LLM concepts and hands-on experience with MCP framework
- Strong technical writing skills to create buildable specifications from scoping calls
- Comfortable working independently on ambiguous problems and structured review tasks
- Builder mentality with ability to generate creative ideas for joint solutions
Nice to have
- Experience reviewing third-party integrations for security or architecture
- Background in headless CMS or headless commerce integration patterns
- Previous experience in developer relations or technical partnerships
- Prior use of Sanity in production or building solutions with Sanity
