You will design and maintain secure Azure infrastructure for core services and AI workloads. The role involves implementing LLMOps practices, managing MCP servers, and integrating AI tools like GitHub Copilot into engineering workflows. You will partner with the Lead AI Platform Engineer to create reusable patterns and ensure system reliability.
What you'll do
- Design and operate secure Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code
- Configure and manage MCP servers and AI integration points for enterprise use
- Build internal engineering assistants and workflow automation using LLMOps practices
- Implement CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions with integrated DevSecOps practices
- Apply SRE principles including SLOs, incident response, and blameless postmortems
- Evaluate and support adoption of AI coding assistants like GitHub Copilot
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide Level 3 support for production systems
- Contribute to internal documentation and runbooks for knowledge sharing
What you'll need
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, including networking, identity, and load balancing
- Hands-on experience applying AI or GenAI tooling to engineering workflows
- Advanced proficiency with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and GitHub Actions
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell
- Strong understanding of secure engineering practices and secrets management
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
Nice to have
- Experience in healthcare technology or regulated SaaS environments
- Knowledge of HIPAA, HITRUST, or SOC 2 compliance standards
- Direct experience with MCP server implementation or administration
- Background in cloud cost optimization or platform modernization
