BETWEEN is seeking a Senior Power Electronics Engineer to join their team in Cerdanyola del Valles. You will take technical responsibility for power electronics development, covering the entire design cycle from simulation and schematic creation to hardware validation and documentation.
What you'll do
- Detailed design of low and medium power DC/DC converters
- Design of analog electronics including op-amps and filters
- Implement power topologies like Flyback, Forward, and Buck
- Simulate power circuits using PSpice or LTspice
- Perform AC analysis and stability studies for converters
- Create schematics and assist with PCB layout
- Conduct hardware debugging and characterization in lab
- Prepare technical design and manufacturing documentation
- Interact with clients and suppliers on technical matters
What you'll need
- Degree in Electronic, Telecom, or Industrial Engineering
- At least 5 years of experience in electronic design
- Strong focus on power electronics and DC/DC converters
- Proficiency with simulation tools like PSpice or LTspice
- Knowledge of analog design and converter control
- Experience with schematic design and PCB layout
- Practical laboratory experience with electronic equipment
- Understanding of EMC and magnetic component design
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git
- Ability to work autonomously and take technical ownership
Nice to have
- Previous experience in Space, Defense, or Aerospace sectors
- Background in Automotive or Industrial industries
