Define and institutionalize enterprise data standards, analytical rigor, and responsible AI practices. You will advise senior executives and technical leaders on data strategy, modernization, and product vision in regulated environments.
Lead the design of enterprise data architecture, including Azure Data Lakehouse and governance layers. Build AI-readiness capabilities such as RAG-ready datasets and ethical model governance while mentoring practitioners through communities of practice.
What you'll do
- Lead ontology development, metadata standards, and data quality management
- Design enterprise data architecture using Azure Data Lakehouse and Synapse
- Drive ontology enforcement via JSON Schema, Pydantic, and TDFPolicy axioms
- Build AI-readiness capabilities including vector stores and bias checks
- Ensure zero-trust compliance and audit-ready lineage across all assets
- Develop reusable analytical playbooks and reference architectures
- Mentor analysts and engineers through coaching and design reviews
- Advise executives on data strategy and AI adoption roadmaps
What you'll need
- 12+ years of relevant professional experience required
- Familiarity with DoD, IC, and Federal mission environments
- Experience delivering complex data, analytics, or AI initiatives
- Deep experience advising senior executives on data strategy
- Active security clearance or eligibility to obtain one
- Advanced degree in systems engineering, CS, or analytics preferred
- Hands-on fluency with Python, SQL, APIs, and data modeling
- Experience with cloud platforms like Databricks or Snowflake

- Experience with generative AI and retrieval-augmented generation
- Knowledge of knowledge graphs or semantic technologies
- Experience establishing responsible AI or model evaluation practices
- Product strategy and go-to-market experience
