Define and institutionalize enterprise data standards, analytical rigor, and responsible AI practices. You will advise senior executives and technical leaders on data strategy, modernization, and product vision in regulated environments.
Lead the design of enterprise data architecture, including Azure Data Lakehouse and governance layers. Drive ontology enforcement, data quality, and AI-readiness capabilities while mentoring practitioners through communities of practice.
What you'll do
- Define enterprise standards for analytical rigor, evidence quality, and decision support
- Lead design of enterprise data architecture including Azure Data Lakehouse and Purview
- Drive ontology enforcement using JSON Schema, Pydantic, and TDFPolicy axioms
- Build AI-readiness capabilities including RAG datasets and ethical model governance
- Advise executives on data strategy, AI adoption, and modernization roadmaps
- Mentor analysts and engineers through coaching and communities of practice
- Ensure zero-trust compliance and audit-ready lineage across all data assets
What you'll need
- 12+ years of relevant professional experience in data or analytics
- Familiarity with DoD, IC, and Federal missions and systems environments
- Experience delivering complex data, AI, or digital modernization initiatives
- Deep experience advising senior executives on data and product strategy
- Active security clearance or eligibility to obtain one
- Advanced degree in systems engineering, computer science, or analytics
- Hands-on fluency with Python, SQL, APIs, and data modeling
Nice to have
- Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, or Elasticsearch platforms
- Knowledge of generative AI, RAG, LLM orchestration, or knowledge graphs
- Experience establishing data quality or responsible AI practices
- Background in FedRAMP, RMF, ATO, or HIPAA-aligned control environments
- Product strategy, roadmapping, or go-to-market experience
