As a senior member, you will own major technical components, participate in privacy audits, and mentor other engineers. The team values pragmatic, performant code and clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What you'll do
- Lead complex privacy projects from proposal through post-mortem
- Design systems to improve search indexes and AI without compromising privacy
- Build features on Tracker Radar to detect emerging privacy threats
- Implement and maintain Web Tracking and Email Protections
- Participate in privacy review and audit processes
- Mentor other engineers to support their career growth
What you'll need
- Experience leading high-impact engineering projects end-to-end
- Ability to solve vague problems and propose innovative solutions
- Background in privacy solutions like tracker blockers or differential privacy
- Deep understanding of online privacy threats and protection methods
- Proficiency in Go, Node.js, Python, or Perl
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
