Join HOLYWATER TECH as the sole designer on a new team creating an AI-native EdTech tool for filmmakers. You will define the user experience and visual identity of a product that merges human creativity with artificial intelligence, working directly with stakeholders to shape the vision.
The company operates leading entertainment platforms like My Drama and My Muse, serving over 100 million users globally. This position offers the autonomy to establish design processes and drive product decisions in a high-growth environment backed by strategic partnerships.
What you'll do
- Design an EdTech product for AI filmmakers from the ground up
- Create aesthetic and competitive UI designs
- Manage end-to-end process from research and user flows to final layouts
- Propose solutions based on business goals and general vision rather than strict specs
- Defend design decisions to stakeholders and take ownership of results
What you'll need
- 5+ years in product design with experience building products from scratch
- Experience designing complex interfaces with multiple scenarios or tools
- Proficiency in user research, including interviews, hypothesis testing, and competitor analysis
- Understanding of product and business metrics like conversion and retention
- Strong proficiency in Figma and active use of AI tools like Claude Design
- Ability to work independently as the initial sole designer on the team
- Strong logical thinking and ability to articulate and defend design choices
