Symbiotic builds the infrastructure beneath collateral markets, enabling new neofinance applications like credit and insurance. As a Senior Product Designer, you will lead the product design function, making onchain complexity legible for users while collaborating closely with engineering and leadership.
What you'll do
- Lead product design in collaboration with Leadership, Engineering, and Marketing
- Design end-to-end user journeys that simplify onchain complexity
- Visualize risk, exposure, and returns for clear user understanding
- Conduct user research and translate findings into feature scopes
- Partner with Engineering to design within real protocol constraints
What you'll need
- Deep fluency in onchain mechanics like wallets, gas, and signing
- Proven experience shipping a DeFi product to real users
- Portfolio demonstrating systems-level thinking and attention to detail
- Ability to operate autonomously in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
- Comfortable working without an existing design team or system
- Proficient in Figma and modern prototyping workflows
- Strong cross-functional communication skills
