Join Homebound as a Senior Product Designer to define the vision for a mobile-first application used by Superintendents and Construction Operators. You will translate complex AI capabilities, such as computer vision and multimodal models, into clear and trustworthy interfaces for users working in the field.
This role requires blending strong interaction design with visual craft to handle ambiguity and uncertainty in AI interactions. You will partner with product managers and engineers to ship features while communicating the AI narrative to executives and investors.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end experience design for field initiatives
- Design clear interfaces for AI confidence and uncertainty
- Create mobile-first experiences for jobsite conditions
- Use motion design to enhance AI interaction intuitiveness
- Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams
- Present AI vision to executives and internal stakeholders
What you'll need
- Portfolio showing polished mobile app case studies
- 5+ years of product design experience
- Direct experience designing mobile applications
- Experience integrating AI/ML patterns into products
- Strong communication and storytelling skills
- Comfortable designing within ambiguous contexts
- Self-starting and collaborative work approach
Nice to have
- IOS design experience is strongly preferred
- Interest in construction or built environment
