Catchafire connects professionals with nonprofits to build stronger communities. As a Senior Product Manager on the Platform team, you will shape the marketplace that facilitates these connections, with a specific focus on leveraging AI to enhance user experience and operational capacity for organizations.
You will own end-to-end product strategy for core platform areas, collaborating with engineering and design teams. The role involves evaluating where machine learning can transform workflows, shipping high-impact features, and ensuring no nonprofit is left behind in the adoption of new technologies.
What you'll do
- Define AI strategy within the broader platform roadmap
- Translate technical tradeoffs into business terms for leadership
- Prototype and ship AI-driven features for nonprofits and volunteers
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to inform backlog
- Lead agile sprints and partner with design and tech teams
- Track feature performance against benchmarks using analytics
What you'll need
- 5+ years in product management with startup experience
- 2+ years designing or shipping AI/ML-powered features
- Experience with marketplace platforms or B2B enterprise software
- Fluency in using AI tools for research and prototyping
- Strong data skills including SQL, Posthog, or Google Analytics
- Ability to present strategy to executive stakeholders
- Comfortable working without heavy process scaffolding
