You will steward the product direction for Angi's Data Infrastructure platform, which provides shared data access, orchestration, and ingestion services. The team aims to create a trusted source of truth for both human users and AI agents, moving away from ticket-based requests toward a self-service model.

Your work will involve managing governed access, streamlining scheduling tools, and overseeing the retirement of legacy systems. You will collaborate closely with Data Engineering teams to ensure the platform supports agentic workflows safely and efficiently.

What you'll do

  • Manage governed platform access to ensure safe, auditable data usage for engineers and services.
  • Streamline orchestration and scheduling by consolidating fragmented tools into a single default system.
  • Define and build self-service data ingestion capabilities for teams bringing their own data.
  • Oversee the retirement of legacy systems, ensuring clear ownership transfer at every step.
  • Optimize compute costs by identifying inefficiencies without compromising developer experience.
  • Advance compute strategy to support multiple engines, matching workloads to the best fit.
  • Build an AI-ready substrate that ensures safe agentic workflows with governed access and audit trails.
  • Use AI agents in daily work and set norms to encourage safe experimentation among peers.

What you'll need

  • Five or more years of product management experience on a data or infrastructure platform team.
  • Ability to read system architecture and pipeline dependencies to make sequencing decisions with engineering.
  • Proven track record of completing cross-team migrations and system retirements fully.
  • Transparent about growth areas and open to learning rather than masking uncertainty.
  • Comfortable weighing compute cost against performance and developer experience in decision-making.
  • Working knowledge of how AI agents consume data and tools differently from human users.
  • Proactive approach to navigating new technical systems and understanding key contacts independently.

How you'll work

  • Fully remote position.
  • Compensation varies based on geographic location.

What you get

  • Base salary range of $150,000 to $235,000 depending on experience and location.
  • Eligible for year-end performance bonus and equity package.
  • Full medical, dental, and vision coverage tailored to individual needs.
  • Flexible vacation policy allowing time off when needed.
  • Pet discount plans and 401K retirement plan with company match.
