You will define product strategy for n8n’s Enterprise team, enabling users to treat automation as software. Your work covers workflow versioning, Git-based source control, and observability tools that help engineering teams deploy mission-critical workflows with confidence.

The role requires deep engagement with enterprise customers and cross-functional leadership to align engineering, design, and sales. You will translate complex technical needs into intuitive product experiences that scale across multiple instances and environments.

What you'll do

  • Define strategies for moving workflows from development to production with environment separation.
  • Shape capabilities for version history, rollback, branching, and conflict resolution.
  • Own Git-based source control workflows to integrate with modern software practices.
  • Build visibility into workflow performance, usage, and reliability across instances.
  • Engage with enterprise customers and engineering leaders to understand delivery needs.
  • Align engineering, design, sales, and customer success through clear strategy and specs.

What you'll need

  • Proven experience shipping complex technical products in enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of how engineering teams build, test, and deploy software.
  • Ability to bring structure to ambiguous technical problems and prioritize effectively.
  • Skill in anticipating edge cases and enterprise-grade reliability needs.
  • Bias for action with a focus on shipping, learning, and iterating quickly.
  • Capacity to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Technical judgment to balance usability, scalability, security, and complexity.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Git, branching, versioning, or pull requests.
  • Knowledge of secrets management, access control, or secure configuration.
  • Background in observability, monitoring, or operational dashboards.
  • Coding or SQL skills to partner effectively on architecture discussions.
  • Prior experience working in remote-first or early-stage environments.
