Dave is a financial app dedicated to providing affordable liquidity to Americans living paycheck to paycheck. As Senior Product Manager for Financial Data Intelligence, you will lead the platform that transforms raw bank transactions and third-party data into trusted signals for underwriting and member experiences. You will collaborate with Engineering, Data Science, and Compliance to improve decision accuracy and expand credit access.
What you'll do
- Define and drive the multi-quarter roadmap for the financial data platform
- Partner with Data Science to build signals for underwriting and repayment prediction
- Evaluate and integrate new financial data sources, APIs, and partnerships
- Manage relationships with data aggregators and third-party providers
- Set standards for data accuracy, coverage, latency, and compliance
- Define platform KPIs and link data improvements to business outcomes
- Identify opportunities where financial data can unlock new credit products
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product management experience
- 2+ years in fintech, lending, or financial data products
- Strong understanding of transaction data and account aggregation systems
- Proven track record building data platforms or APIs in regulated environments
- Experience managing external vendors and data partners
- Proficiency with SQL and BI tools like Mode, Looker, or Tableau
- Ability to translate complex data requirements into clear product specs
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience
Nice to have
- Experience with cash advance, credit, or lending products
- Knowledge of underwriting, repayment prediction, or risk modeling
- Familiarity with Plaid, MX, Finicity, or similar aggregation platforms
- Hands-on familiarity with data pipelines or ML feature engineering
- Experience running A/B tests or champion/challenger experiments
