You will own the product roadmap for a document intelligence platform, translating customer needs into technical requirements. The position involves collaborating with data science, engineering, and frontend teams to improve accuracy, search logic, and operational performance.
This role is with a DC-based firm supporting federal agencies in research and data analysis. The team values work-life balance and offers a collaborative environment where individual contributions are visible.
What you'll do
- Own roadmap priorities across data, ML, backend, and frontend teams
- Lead discovery with stakeholders using prototypes and demos
- Translate business needs into testable requirements and user stories
- Define metrics for model accuracy, false positives, and reviewer effort
- Collaborate with data engineers on ingestion and data quality
- Diagnose issues across UI, data pipelines, models, and business rules
- Coordinate release readiness and gather structured client feedback
What you'll need
- Senior PM experience with AI/ML or data-intensive products
- Track record of discovery driven by prototypes or working software
- Ability to define acceptance criteria for probabilistic features
- Solid grasp of data pipelines, APIs, and system dependencies
- Experience managing stakeholders across technical and business units
- Authorized to work in the US with 3+ years of US residence
- Able and willing to obtain a Public Trust clearance
Nice to have
- Experience with document intelligence, OCR, or vector search
- Knowledge of AWS services like SageMaker, Bedrock, or Textract
- Background in regulated, healthcare, or high-stakes products
- Familiarity with model governance and evidence traceability
- Experience maintaining a reusable roadmap for multiple clients
