Join Deepgram as a Senior Program Manager focused on Data Operations. You will transform abstract modeling goals into concrete data strategies, building scalable pipelines for speech-to-text and text-to-speech technologies. Working across Research, Engineering, and Product, you will own the lifecycle of voice data from collection to evaluation.
What you'll do
- Design and own end-to-end data workflows from audio ingestion to production datasets
- Build labeling specs, style guides, and documentation for global annotation teams
- Identify and implement opportunities for tooling automation and workflow optimization
- Translate product goals into data creation strategies aligned with model requirements
- Collaborate with Research and Engineering to align data collection with training architecture
- Manage and mentor data vendors, freelancers, and internal team members
- Track throughput, data quality, and vendor performance to drive continuous improvement
What you'll need
- Experience owning data, ML, or operations programs end-to-end in program or product management
- Fluency working with technical teams on data quality, evaluation, and model impact
- Strong systems thinking ability to design solutions that scale effectively
- Track record of prioritization under constraint and decisive sequencing of tasks
- Demonstrated ability to design and build scalable processes rather than just managing existing ones
- Comfort with rapid change and integrating advanced AI tools into daily workflows
Nice to have
- Direct exposure to speech, audio, ASR, or TTS data nuances
- Experience with active-learning or data-selection approaches
- Background in startup environments or high-ambiguity settings
