Join the Lottery Management Services team as a Senior QA Automation Engineer. You will design and maintain robust automated test solutions for global lottery operations, working closely with engineers, product owners, and DevOps specialists.
Your main focus will be expanding UI and API coverage, investigating failures, and improving automation architecture. This position requires strong Java skills and experience with modern testing frameworks in an Agile environment.
What you'll do
- Define automation scope by analyzing business requirements and user stories
- Design and maintain scalable Java-based automation frameworks for UI and API
- Develop automated tests using Selenide, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Maven
- Implement API automation for REST services using RestAssured or similar tools
- Integrate automated tests into Jenkins and Git-based CI/CD pipelines
- Analyze test failures to identify root causes and improve diagnostics
- Review automation code and support framework modernization efforts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build quality into delivery
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of QA experience with substantial hands-on automation responsibility
- Strong Java programming skills and framework design experience
- Proficiency in UI automation with Selenide or Selenium WebDriver
- Experience with API testing using RestAssured or equivalent solutions
- Hands-on experience with TestNG, Maven, Git, and Jenkins
- Understanding of Page Object patterns and layered test architecture
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Nice to have
- Experience with mobile app automation and testing
- Familiarity with Playwright or Python-based automation
- Knowledge of observability tools like Grafana, Kibana, or Splunk
- Experience with QMetry, Jira, and Confluence
- Knowledge of MongoDB, MySQL, or other databases
- Background in regulated industries like gaming or financial services
