This position requires strong expertise in Ruby on Rails and a focus on high-quality, scalable code. You will collaborate with designers and engineers to ship new features from concept to production.
What you'll do
- Architect and develop highly scalable web applications
- Design and build new features from scratch with the team
- Evaluate and improve application performance and security
- Take ownership of tasks from start to finish
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs
What you'll need
- 5+ years of production-level Ruby on Rails experience
- Experience with MySQL and Redis databases
- Proficiency in RSpec and QA testing techniques
- Advanced knowledge of Git
- Strong grasp of Object Oriented Design and patterns
- Fluent English with great communication skills
- Prior experience working remotely
Nice to have
- Experience with Elasticsearch
- Familiarity with deployment automation tools
- Experience integrating LLMs into production apps
- Ambition, willingness to learn, and sense of humor
