As the first Sales Engineer in the UK, you will drive enterprise security sales by demonstrating how Artemis solves real problems for SOC analysts and CISOs. You will partner with Account Executives to win complex deals, manage technical validation, and help establish scalable go-to-market playbooks for the region.
What you'll do
- Lead technical deep dives and tailored demos for enterprise security teams
- Conduct structured discovery to assess customer security posture and tooling
- Design and validate solutions meeting technical, compliance, and business needs
- Serve as primary technical owner in pre-sales alongside Account Executives
- Address complex questions on architecture, detection logic, and data handling
- Support pilots, proofs of value, and technical validation in customer environments
- Manage responses to security questionnaires, RFPs, and vendor risk reviews
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to unblock deals and share insights
- Build and evolve UK-specific technical sales playbooks and demo narratives
What you'll need
- 5+ years in Sales Engineering or Solutions Architecture in B2B cybersecurity
- Experience leading technical conversations with architects and CISOs
- Strong understanding of modern security architecture including cloud platforms
- Knowledge of SIEM, EDR/XDR, SOAR, and common log sources
- Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat modeling
- Comfort with APIs, scripting in Python or Bash, and query languages
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Proven ability to manage multiple deals and stakeholders simultaneously
Nice to have
- Prior experience as a software engineer
- Hands-on background in SOC, incident response, or offensive security
- Experience in the UK or European security market
- Background in early-stage SaaS or security companies
- Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CISSP, or cloud security certs
