As a Sales Engineer at Camunda, you will demonstrate the value of the enterprise platform for agentic orchestration to prospective clients. You will manage product evaluations, answer technical questions, and drive presales interactions to secure wins.
You will partner with Account Executives and Solution Architects to qualify opportunities and execute sales strategies. The role requires creating custom demos, implementing code snippets, and translating complex technical concepts into clear business value for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What you'll do
- Map customer requirements to the Camunda product portfolio
- Develop individual evaluation plans and custom demos for prospects
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical Q&A sessions
- Support the completion of RFI and RFP documents
- Partner with Account Executives to develop accounts and strategy
- Implement code snippets and maintain presales technical artifacts
- Organize and execute pre-sales engagements to drive conversions
What you'll need
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Solid understanding of programming fundamentals and IT architectures
- Proven experience in Sales Engineering or Pre-Sales roles
- Deep understanding of sales cycles and value-based selling
- Fluent in English and one regional language
- Exceptional presentation and interpersonal communication skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally for meetings and events
Nice to have
- Experience in enterprise automation, BPM, or RPA domains
- Familiarity with Agentic AI or process orchestration landscapes
- Experience conducting value workshops and engineering frameworks
- Industry background in BFSI, Telecommunications, or Logistics
- Proficiency in an additional language beyond English and regional
