Join the cloud engineering team as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to maintain a healthy and secure production environment. You will handle day-to-day AWS administration, ensure robust backup strategies, and drive continuous improvement in deployment and scalability.
What you'll do
- Administer AWS services, accounts, access, and PostgreSQL databases daily.
- Manage backups for databases, S3 buckets, and queues with regular restore tests.
- Monitor production via CloudWatch and Slack alerts to prevent user impact.
- Lead incident response, maintain runbooks, and resolve queue failures.
- Refine infrastructure as code using SST or Pulumi for scalability.
- Share operational knowledge to foster team learning and growth.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 4-6 years of related experience.
- 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or platform operations with production responsibility.
- 3+ years hands-on AWS experience focusing on serverless services.
- Strong PostgreSQL administration skills including backup and query performance.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, and bash for automation tooling.
- Solid understanding of Linux, DNS, TLS, Docker, and GitHub Actions.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools like SST, Pulumi, or Terraform.
