Join Teleport's Cloud team to build production infrastructure from scratch for their AI Infrastructure Identity platform. You will work on scaling the core product, optimizing routing latency, and balancing security with productivity for enterprise clients like Nasdaq and DoorDash.
The team focuses on solving hard reliability problems while maintaining strict security standards. You will collaborate with engineers globally to ensure trusted computing and system uptime.
What you'll do
- Re-engineer core product to scale globally and optimize routing latency
- Rewrite portions of the codebase to enable cloud product goals
- Build monitoring and observability stack to minimize false positives
- Automate operational tasks to eliminate high-toil activities
- Handle patching, scaling, backup, restore, and disaster recovery
- Investigate customer outages and incidents
- Participate in on-call rotation for 24/7 system uptime
What you'll need
- 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, SRE, or DevOps
- Strong proficiency in Go and Kubernetes development
- Deep knowledge of Linux systems, networking, and containers
- Experience with AWS Cloud; GCP experience is acceptable
- Proficiency with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki
- Ability to write scripts, automation, and lightweight programs
- Experience working in security-critical environments
- Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset
