The Build Platform team treats internal developers as customers, aiming to make software development fast and intuitive. You will shape the developer journey by creating tools that support hundreds of engineers using Ruby, Python, Kotlin, and TypeScript.
A key focus is enabling AI-assisted development by solving verification bottlenecks. You will build systems that ensure code generated by agents is safe, reproducible, and trustworthy, allowing the company to ship with confidence.
What you'll do
- Roll out containerized development environments for reproducible workflows
- Build verification layers to validate AI-generated code quickly
- Improve test signal determinism and reduce flakiness for agents
- Modernize core libraries and CLI tools for microservices architecture
- Develop backend mocking solutions for isolated asynchronous testing
- Create automated scorecards to measure service health and excellence
What you'll need
- 7+ years of software development experience, preferably in platform teams
- 7+ years working with Ruby, Python, TypeScript, or Kotlin
- Experience building internal libraries, frameworks, or tooling
- Hands-on experience using coding agents in production environments
- Background in building with LLMs and evaluating output correctness
- Data-informed approach to measuring impact and identifying opportunities
- Collaborative spirit with a passion for mentoring other developers
