This position operates within a distributed team spanning the USA, Canada, Europe, and India. You will collaborate with product managers and frontend engineers to deliver secure, efficient APIs and robust infrastructure.
What you'll do
- Design and maintain scalable backend services for applications and infrastructure
- Implement secure and efficient APIs for frontend and third-party integrations
- Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability via best practices
- Collaborate with product managers and frontend engineers on solution development
- Ensure high availability and fault tolerance of backend systems
- Monitor system health and troubleshoot issues to enhance stability
What you'll need
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud-based technologies
- Proficiency in Java and AWS stack environments
- Experience building backend services and distributed systems
- Proven track record in developing microservices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including admins
