Blooming Health uses AI to identify social needs and connect individuals with care services. As a Senior SDET, you will define test strategy, automation, and quality initiatives while partnering with Engineering, Product, and AI teams to ensure product reliability and secure development practices.
What you'll do
- Architect and execute scalable automated tests that are easy to maintain
- Partner with Engineering, Product, and AI teams to balance speed and quality
- Improve quality metrics across feature teams and the wider organization
- Ensure engineering practices support secure development and data compliance
- Define test strategy and tooling within feature teams
What you'll need
- Deep experience in test strategy, automation frameworks, and modern QA methods
- Ability to lead technical quality initiatives while contributing as an individual contributor
- Proven track record in fast-paced startup or growth-stage SaaS environments
- Experience leveraging AI tools to improve QA productivity and test generation
- Strong understanding of application architecture, APIs, and backend systems
- Familiarity with secure development practices for sensitive or regulated data
Nice to have
- Experience in healthcare technology or HIPAA-regulated environments
- Familiarity with intelligent test generation and AI-enabled QA workflows
- Background in open-source engineering ecosystems and source code review
- Experience collaborating with distributed teams across multiple time zones
