You will design and deliver technology that powers natural, human-like conversations at scale. Your work will help companies reduce wait times and improve customer satisfaction by enabling them to launch and monitor AI-powered interactions.
Collaborating with product and machine learning teams, you will build rich user experiences and backend services. The goal is to create compelling conversations for callers while handling millions of daily interactions for Fortune 500 clients.
What you'll do
- Build new features for core AI voice and chat products handling millions of daily conversations
- Ship full stack end-to-end features with high impact in days rather than weeks
- Integrate automatic speech recognition, text to speech, and conversational AI models
- Refactor, optimize, and debug production systems balancing latency, cost, and user experience
- Participate in regular on-call rotations to monitor live production systems
- Improve systems continuously based on performance metrics and customer feedback
- Shape culture through knowledge sharing and mentorship on distributed systems and UX
What you'll need
- 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience in SaaS, AI, or real-time systems
- Proven track record of shipping elegant, maintainable solutions scaling to millions of users
- Strong collaboration skills favoring impact over process and building trust with stakeholders
- Mastery of AI tools for writing, improving, debugging, and refactoring large code bases
- Experience designing quality testing including automated, manual, and AI-driven methods
- Mastery of TypeScript/React, Node.js, Python, or Rust and LLM prompt engineering
- Familiarity with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Experience with cloud environments such as GCP, AWS, or Azure and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of metrics, logging, and monitoring systems
