Join the Admin & Identity and Access Management team at Mural to define how users sign in and administrators govern organizations. You will own core permission models, SSO, MFA, and user provisioning while shaping the enterprise administration experience.
This position requires designing and shipping secure, intuitive capabilities end-to-end. You will collaborate with Product, Design, and Infrastructure to deliver robust solutions that help companies adopt Mural with confidence.
What you'll do
- Build core identity systems for authentication, authorization, SSO, and session management
- Develop enterprise administration features including user provisioning and billing controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to design secure and intuitive user experiences
- Own technical initiatives from design through implementation and operational support
- Mentor teammates and contribute to code reviews and engineering best practices
- Use AI tools to enhance productivity, code quality, and system understanding
What you'll need
- 4+ years of experience building large-scale production software in agile teams
- Strong backend skills with Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, and MongoDB
- Hands-on experience building production UIs with React and modern frontend patterns
- Knowledge of IAM concepts like SSO, SCIM, roles, permissions, and auth flows
- Experience with enterprise admin surfaces such as org management or billing dashboards
- Ability to balance speed, quality, and maintainability in iterative project delivery
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across product and security teams
