Join the Agent Systems team, a greenfield engineering group focused on creating AI agents that interact directly with company systems. You will work at the intersection of AI, backend engineering, and product development to automate workflows and increase execution speed across the organization.
The team balances rapid prototyping with high production reliability standards. You will collaborate with product and infrastructure partners to deploy agent-driven capabilities that provide leverage across internal tools and operations.
What you'll do
- Build and ship AI-powered agent systems to automate internal workflows
- Design inference pipelines that reason over user interactions across systems
- Prototype agent behaviors quickly and productionize valuable solutions
- Architect backend services integrating with multiple internal APIs
- Define patterns for safe, observable, and controllable agent execution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities
- Improve system speed, reliability, and signal quality as usage scales
- Contribute to foundational design decisions for the agent platform
What you'll need
- 5+ years of experience building and shipping production software systems
- Strong backend fundamentals including APIs and distributed systems
- Experience building fullstack systems with backend and frontend comfort
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML systems, LLMs, or inference pipelines
- Ability to prototype rapidly while maintaining production-grade architecture
- Strong systems thinking regarding orchestration and observability
- Comfort operating in ambiguous, high-ownership environments
Nice to have
- Experience building or operating agent-based systems
- Familiarity with prompt engineering and model performance tuning
- Experience integrating with internal enterprise systems like CRM
- Background in building developer platforms or internal tooling
- Experience designing guardrails or safety layers for AI systems
