Join the engineering team at Chainalysis to build the data platform for blockchain and Web3. You will own high-impact projects involving data ingest services and API development, ensuring the system handles thousands of requests per second while adapting to rapid industry changes.
What you'll do
- Own and improve Java services for data ingest and aggregations
- Design PostgreSQL strategies for batching, indexing, and replication
- Build scalable AWS API services handling high request volumes
- Run PoCs and benchmarks for next-generation architecture
- Debug production issues and participate in on-call rotation
- Integrate LLM tools for automated incident triage and alerting
What you'll need
- 8+ years with PostgreSQL in high-throughput environments
- 8+ years building Java Spring Boot services and REST APIs
- Experience with Kafka or equivalent streaming systems
- Track record operating distributed systems on AWS
- Strong cross-system debugging skills using observability tools
- Comfort with AI-assisted development and agentic practices
Nice to have
- Experience with database migration and storage cutovers
- Familiarity with Flink, Spark, or lakehouse formats
- Kubernetes operations experience with stateful workloads
- Mentoring engineers and driving technical decisions via RFCs
- Genuine interest in cryptocurrency and blockchain tech
