Join the Intel team at TRM Labs to enhance intelligence collection through custom AI solutions. You will work directly with analysts to understand their workflows and build durable, high-impact products that trace illicit activity.
This hands-on position requires strong product sense and technical depth. You will own projects end-to-end, from architecture to delivery, ensuring systems are reliable and scalable for daily use by internal stakeholders.
What you'll do
- Embed with analysts to translate workflows into technical solutions
- Design and build AI-powered internal applications end-to-end
- Develop custom agentic solutions using modern AI models
- Own project lifecycle from scoping to delivery and support
- Build reliable back-end services, APIs, and data storage systems
- Evaluate impact and iterate based on real user outcomes
What you'll need
- 6+ years of full-stack software engineering experience
- Strong product sense to identify high-impact solutions
- Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with Postgres, Pinecone, Redis, and API design
- Hands-on experience building AI-enabled workflows or prototypes
- Ability to operate independently in ambiguous problem spaces
- Strong communication skills for semi-technical stakeholders

How you'll work
- Distributed-first company with global hubs
- Requires 6 hours overlap with PST (8am-2pm PST)
- On-call rotation for internal tool support
- In-person R&D work weeks 1-2 times per quarter

What you get
- Base salary range $200,000 - $220,000 (US)
