Join vCluster Labs as a core architect for the vCluster Platform, defining the future of Kubernetes multi-tenancy. You will navigate complex Kubernetes internals to build tools used by leading engineering teams, focusing on isolation and resource sharing beyond simple namespaces.
The company supports AI cloud providers with a hyperscaler-like experience on their own GPU infrastructure. As part of a remote-first culture, you will contribute to open-source projects and help shape next-generation tenancy models.
What you'll do
- Work intimately with Kubernetes internals to advance container orchestration boundaries
- Write high-performance, resilient Go code for the core vCluster platform logic
- Manage feature development from technical design to release with full ownership
- Contribute to open-source projects and define next-generation tenancy models
- Solve complex systems architecture challenges requiring deep technical understanding
What you'll need
- Deep expertise in Kubernetes internals, including networking and storage patterns
- Strong programming skills in Go to translate knowledge into efficient code
- Active GitHub projects or open-source contributions demonstrating a builder mindset
- Self-driven approach with ability to identify and solve problems autonomously
- Experience working in high-growth, ambiguous startup environments
Nice to have
- History of contributions to upstream Kubernetes projects or SIGs
- Experience in early-stage organizations with autonomous functioning
