Join Prophet Security to engineer the core backend infrastructure that powers automated security tasks. You will design frameworks for third-party integrations and build pipelines that process large volumes of security data for real-time analysis.
The team focuses on disrupting the security labor market by creating platforms that execute investigation plans and provide actionable recommendations. You will collaborate with product and machine learning experts to solve distributed systems challenges.
What you'll do
- Own and evolve core backend systems for the security platform
- Design extensible frameworks for third-party security integrations
- Build performant backends for customer onboarding and data insights
- Create storage and indexing patterns for dimensional security data
- Lead technical design decisions and mentor other engineers
- Partner with product and ML teams to solve distributed system issues
What you'll need
- At least two years of software engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience building and deploying scalable backend services
- Proficiency in Go, Python, or similar relevant languages
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
