Join the Product Engineering team at TRM Labs to develop reliable backend infrastructure used by global customers and internal teams. You will design public APIs, solve complex engineering challenges, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate functional visions into technical roadmaps.
The team operates on weekly sprints with a culture of psychological safety and high ownership. Engineers act as technical anchors for projects, balancing speed with quality while contributing to a mission of disrupting illicit financial activity.
What you'll do
- Design and maintain public APIs for the API Product suite
- Build scalable web applications, systems, and backend services
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define clear product roadmaps
- Support internal business units with shared engineering services
- Triage customer support requests for internal tools during on-call
What you'll need
- Experience designing scalable systems, APIs, and web services
- Knowledge of relational databases like Postgres and analytical stores
- Ability to bridge customer pain points to technical requirements
- Strong initiative and ability to navigate ambiguity effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for all audiences
- Experience collaborating in cross-functional, diverse environments

How you'll work
