Join AeroVect to build the decision-making layer for autonomous vehicles operating in structured, low-speed airport environments. You will own key modules of the behavior planner, addressing multi-agent interactions and edge cases unique to airside logistics.

Reporting to the Planning Tech Lead, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate robust planning systems. The work combines advanced algorithm design with real-world validation in simulated and live scenarios.

What you'll do

  • Develop advanced behavior planning algorithms for autonomous vehicles
  • Design and maintain scalable code in C++ and Python
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure robust system integration
  • Conduct testing in simulated and real-world environments
  • Analyze performance data to implement system enhancements
  • Document code, algorithms, and system designs comprehensively

What you'll need

  • Proficient in modern C++ (11/14/17) and OOP
  • Skilled in Python for prototyping and testing
  • Strong debugging, profiling, and optimization skills
  • Understanding of state machines and behavior trees
  • Familiarity with A*, RRT, or optimization-based path planning
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years experience in autonomous driving or robotics

Nice to have

  • Experience with ROS or ROS2 frameworks
  • Knowledge of machine learning for behavior prediction
