Join the ReCon team at Virta Health to engineer the systems that convert clinical care into recognized revenue. You will own the end-to-end quote-to-cash path, ensuring that contracts, invoices, and claims are accurate for major health plans and employers. Correctness in this domain is critical, as partners rely on your data to bill their own clients.
What you'll do
- Lead projects from ambiguous problem definition to production deployment
- Build and extend Go services for contract configuration and invoice management
- Expand assertion frameworks to catch billing discrepancies before invoicing
- Design self-service tools for finance and operations teams to manage data
- Mentor engineers and conduct design and code reviews
- Apply AI tools to accelerate development workflows where appropriate
What you'll need
- 5+ years building and operating backend services in production
- Proficiency in Go or another statically typed language
- Experience with event-driven architectures and eventual consistency
- Strong SQL skills and comfort working across application and analytics layers
- Track record of owning systems with external correctness consequences like billing
- Experience collaborating directly with non-engineering stakeholders
- Experience with GCP or another major cloud platform
- Frontend development experience with React and TypeScript
