Join the Customer Portfolio Enablement team to enhance the experience for Marqeta’s clients. You will develop systems that allow customers to test integrations and migrate existing data at scale. The work involves creating resilient software solutions that support seamless onboarding and continuous platform usage.
What you'll do
- Own and contribute to the migration data platform for moving customer data at scale.
- Build and maintain environment provisioning automation for new customer setups.
- Support sandbox and simulation services for testing integrations and transactions.
- Work with workflow orchestration tools to connect multi-step processes and APIs.
- Participate in on-call rotations, bug triage, and metrics review.
- Ensure products remain secure and compliant for customer use.
What you'll need
- Five or more years of backend engineering experience.
- Proficiency in developing with Java Spring Boot.
- Experience with cloud environments, preferably AWS.
- Ability to understand existing designs and adjust technology choices.
- Strong collaboration skills for cross-functional team work.
- Willingness to mentor junior engineers and interns.
Nice to have
- Background in payments or the FinTech industry.
- Experience with ETL processes or data migration.
- Familiarity with workflow orchestration like Airflow or AWS Step Functions.
- Exposure to data engineering tools such as Spark, Iceberg, or AWS Glue.
