Join Flipturn, now part of Einride, to build the next generation of EV charging and energy platforms. You will develop the Flipturn Controller, an onsite computer that integrates chargers, batteries, and utility programs. This role combines embedded Linux work with full-stack product development to support sustainable transportation fleets.
What you'll do
- Build major features for the Flipturn Controller onsite control computer
- Integrate EV charging with batteries, generators, and utility programs
- Upgrade embedded Linux systems including build tooling and bootloaders
- Perform board bring-up and firmware improvements
- Enhance full-stack energy management software for customer sites
- Drive the technical vision and culture of the engineering team
What you'll need
- 4-7 years of experience in software engineering
- 2+ years of experience with firmware development
- Proficiency with embedded Linux systems and build tooling like Yocto
- Experience with bootloaders and board bring-up processes
- Ability to work on both firmware/hardware and full-stack product layers
- Track record of delivering end-to-end products in fast-moving teams
- Interest in using AI tools to accelerate software development
