SigNoz is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their frontend team. You will design and build complex workflows for dashboards, traces, and logs, ensuring intuitive experiences for engineering teams handling large volumes of telemetry data.
The role involves owning features end-to-end, from problem definition to production. You will work closely with design, product, and backend engineers to improve incident investigation tools and optimize UI performance using React and TypeScript.
What you'll do
- Design and build complex workflows for dashboards, traces, logs, and alerts
- Own large frontend features and systems from concept to production
- Translate complex observability concepts into clear, intuitive user experiences
- Architect for performance using virtualization, caching, and selective rendering
- Profile and optimize slow interactions and data-heavy visualizations
- Contribute to frontend architecture, design system, and engineering standards
- Collaborate with design, product, founders, and backend engineers
- Engage with users to ship improvements for faster incident investigation
What you'll need
- Strong experience building production applications with React and TypeScript
- Ability to think in systems and user journeys rather than just screens
- Experience with complex, data-heavy, or highly interactive applications
- Deep understanding of React rendering behavior and performance bottlenecks
- Proficiency with browser profiling and debugging tools
- Skill in balancing performance, maintainability, and delivery speed
- Self-starter capable of moving work forward without detailed instructions
- Clear communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
