Join Sardine as a Senior Software Engineer focused on frontend development. You will design and deliver polished, high-performance interfaces for AI products using React and TypeScript, while occasionally contributing to backend services in Go. This high-autonomy position involves setting technical standards, mentoring peers, and leveraging AI tools to accelerate development workflows.
What you'll do
- Design and build production-grade user features in React and TypeScript
- Set frontend technical direction and quality standards for the team
- Mentor engineers and conduct code reviews to lift team capabilities
- Utilize AI tools like Claude to enhance development speed and efficiency
- Collaborate with stakeholders to architect new experiences from start to finish
- Contribute to backend services and APIs using Go when required
- Create technical documentation to support product adoption and understanding
What you'll need
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with frontend specialization
- Expert-level proficiency in React and TypeScript
- Strong focus on UX, performance optimization, and accessibility
- Proven experience using AI coding tools to increase throughput
- Leadership background in setting standards and mentoring engineers
- Working proficiency in Go or ability to learn it quickly
- Ability to prioritize autonomously in ambiguous environments
- Proficient in English for both casual and formal communication
Nice to have
- Experience in fintech, fraud, compliance, or regulated systems
- Exposure to data tooling or data pipelines
