Join a product-focused engineering team at Oowlish to build impactful digital solutions in the mental healthcare space. You will work across the full stack, taking ownership of features from concept to production while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
This hands-on position requires leveraging AI tools to accelerate development and enhance workflows. You will contribute to technical direction and user experience, ensuring scalability and real-world outcomes for premier clients in the US and Europe.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain full-stack applications using TypeScript, Node.js, and React
- Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs
- Model data and optimize queries using PostgreSQL
- Deploy cloud-based solutions on AWS, preferably using ECS
- Own features end-to-end from design through to production
- Collaborate with Product teams to deliver impactful solutions
- Improve system performance, reliability, and developer experience
- Use AI tools to accelerate development and enhance workflows
What you'll need
- 8+ years of experience in full-stack software engineering
- Strong proficiency with TypeScript, Node.js, and React
- Experience shipping complex features in production systems
- Proven track record of owning technical initiatives end-to-end
- Experience contributing to 0 to 1 product development
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
- Experience with cloud environments, preferably AWS and ECS
- Proficiency using AI tools in daily development workflows
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Interest in improving mental healthcare outcomes
Nice to have
- Experience in HIPAA-regulated healthcare or fintech environments
- Experience integrating AI or ML solutions in production
