Join the Blockchain Infrastructure team at Quicknode to design and optimize distributed systems that serve billions of requests daily. You will work across Go and Rust to build reliable, low-latency backend services and APIs for over 80 blockchain networks.
What you'll do
- Design and optimize high-throughput backend services and APIs in Go and Rust
- Own architecture, concurrency models, and resource efficiency of production components
- Build distributed systems for ingesting and serving blockchain data with strong consistency
- Profile systems to identify bottlenecks and improve latency and throughput under load
- Assess security risks and implement controls for transactions and system integrity
- Debug complex failures across services, databases, and blockchain nodes
- Mentor engineers and lead code reviews to establish engineering standards
What you'll need
- 8+ years of software engineering experience in high-scale production environments
- Advanced proficiency in both Go and Rust with production shipping experience
- Deep knowledge of distributed systems, concurrency, and memory safety
- Experience building reliable systems with measurable performance improvements
- Background in blockchain infrastructure, RPC, or data-streaming pipelines
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead cross-team projects
Nice to have
- Experience with Ethereum, Solana, or major blockchain protocols
- Knowledge of cryptographic, wallet, or signing systems
- Experience with Kafka, event-driven services, or distributed databases
- Proven technical leadership through architecture ownership or mentorship
