Join the Growth & Engagement team at Mural to help customers discover value through intuitive product experiences and rapid experimentation. You will build platforms and features that drive acquisition, activation, and monetization while leveraging emerging AI capabilities.
This cross-functional role requires close collaboration with Product, Design, and Data teams to validate ideas and deliver high-quality, scalable solutions. You will shape technical direction and establish practices that enable confident experimentation and fast iteration.
What you'll do
- Design and maintain customer-facing features to improve acquisition and retention
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify growth opportunities
- Implement and analyze A/B tests and feature flags to validate hypotheses
- Build reliable instrumentation and event pipelines for behavior analysis
- Contribute to architecture, technical design, and platform improvements
- Mentor teammates through code reviews and technical leadership
- Improve performance, reliability, and scalability of user journeys
What you'll need
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency with TypeScript, React, Node.js, and MongoDB
- Experience building customer-facing products with Product and Design partners
- Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and AI tooling ecosystems
- Track record of using analytics to inform engineering decisions
- Experience designing and analyzing product experiments like A/B testing
- Strong fundamentals in system design, testing, and observability
- Ability to mentor engineers and drive projects from concept to delivery
