Join the Growth & Engagement team at Mural to help customers discover value through intuitive product experiences and rapid experimentation. You will build customer-facing features, implement A/B testing frameworks, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to drive sustainable business growth.
This position requires strong technical craftsmanship and a product mindset. You will shape the team's technical direction, establish engineering practices for confident experimentation, and mentor colleagues while delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.
What you'll do
- Design and maintain features for acquisition, activation, and retention
- Collaborate with Product and Design to identify growth opportunities
- Implement and analyze A/B tests and feature flags
- Build instrumentation and event pipelines for user behavior analysis
- Improve performance, reliability, and scalability of user journeys
- Mentor teammates through code reviews and design discussions
- Contribute to roadmap planning and technical strategy
What you'll need
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Proficiency in TypeScript, React, Node.js, and MongoDB
- Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and AI tools
- Experience using AI-assisted development workflows
- Strong fundamentals in system design and testing
- Ability to balance customer needs with technical tradeoffs
- Experience with product experiments and analytics
- Track record of mentoring engineers and owning ambiguous problems
