Join Replicant as a Senior SDET to shape quality engineering for a scalable voice AI platform. You will partner with Engineering and Product to build automation frameworks, define testing standards, and integrate quality into the development lifecycle from the start.
This hands-on role focuses on creating AI-driven testing workflows and tooling. You will mentor QA engineers, manage quality feedback loops, and ensure reliable releases through robust CI/CD gates and validation systems.
What you'll do
- Act as technical authority for quality engineering and set high standards
- Mentor AI-enabled QA engineers through code review and pairing
- Build AI-driven testing workflows for scalable platform validation
- Manage quality feedback from dogfooding, A/B tests, and customer reports
- Partner with Product and Engineering to improve testability early on
- Develop automation frameworks and CI/CD quality gates
- Use analytics to expand edge-case coverage and inform roadmap decisions
What you'll need
- 5+ years in SDET or quality engineering with hands-on coding
- Strong skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python
- Experience building production-quality tooling and test frameworks
- AI-native approach to leveraging AI for faster validation
- Deep knowledge of automation, API testing, and CI/CD workflows
- Mastery of test design, risk-based coverage, and regression strategy
- Ability to use data and metrics to evaluate and communicate quality trends
Nice to have
- Experience testing AI and LLM-powered systems
- Familiarity with non-deterministic behavior and hallucinations
- Background in FDE, delivery, or professional services environments
