Join Coder’s Engineering team to evolve the infrastructure behind AI-driven development experiences. You will work on agent harnesses, integrations, and workflows that connect autonomous agents with real development environments.
This hands-on role requires solving complex technical challenges while collaborating with Product and Design teams. You will help ship reliable agentic capabilities by extending a provider-agnostic architecture.
What you'll do
- Design and build production backend systems using Go
- Implement features in React and TypeScript when needed
- Improve agent execution, context management, and streaming
- Build integrations between agents, tools, and developer infrastructure
- Own projects from implementation through rollout and iteration
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions
- Enhance reliability, performance, and operability of agentic systems
What you'll need
- Strong experience building and operating production software systems
- Hands-on experience with Go programming language
- Practical experience with React and TypeScript
- Experience building systems around LLMs or agentic workflows
- Familiarity with model APIs, tool calling, or agent loops
- Good understanding of distributed systems and production reliability
- Working knowledge of AWS cloud services
- Ability to work through technical ambiguity and solve complex problems
Nice to have
- Experience building coding agents or developer tools
- Knowledge of MCP, agent tools, or multi-agent systems
- Experience with remote execution, sandboxing, or isolated compute
- Experience building integrations across multiple model providers
- Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, or Linux
- Open-source contributions or direct customer interaction experience
